Sunday Best
Resident DJs:
Rob Da Bank
Rob da Bank founded Sunday Best back in February 1995. Originally a weekly Sunday nighter hosted under the centuries-old beams of South London's 'Tearooms des Artistes' with an ethos based on an 'anything goes' musical policy all served up with mind blowing hallucinogenic visuals, scrummy food, beer and cocktails - could you possibly ask for more? In 1997 Rob wanted an outlet for some of the amazing music he was hearing at the weekly... and Sunday Best Recordings was born. The label in the early days was best known for releasing groundbreaking eclectic compilations that introduced the world to then unknown artists such as Groove Armada, Lemon Jelly and Bent.

From 2002 Sunday Best Recordings' line up expanded significantly to feature an eclectic roster of talented artists across a plethora of genres with particularly notable releases by Max Sedgley, Grand National and Lazyboy. More recently the label has climbed to even greater heights with artists such as Kitty Daisy & Lewis, Dan le Sac Vs Scroobius Pip, Beardyman, David Lynch(!), Dub Pistols, David E. Sugar, Sound of Rum, Lucky Elephant and more all confirming Sunday Best’s place as one of the finest independent record labels in the UK. It is due to this rich history why we at WFS are so proud to have them on board. Let's get this party started...
